SOKOA's in-house Design Office is in charge of design, drawing and development of the products in its range. This team is working closely with the Sales Department in order to keep up with market trends and propose innovative goods that meet the customers' requirements.
The Engineering Department also supervises controls, carries out tests and ensures manufacturing standards.
Manufacturing
In Hendaye close to the Head Office, SOKOA has had its factory extension built three times since 1989 and with its last 2004 enlargement extend over 20.000 m2 production surface in one block.
Manufacturing is run by Computer-aided production management, which by controlling the needs of compounds and the schedules, ensures a delivery within the set deadline.
All SOKOA seats are manufactured under the stringent ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Standards.
Marketing of chairs
In France
SOKOA has set a national network of dealers. These ones are visited by a team of 10 sales representatives and a Sales Manager. This distribution is completed by new means such as sales to mail order companies and Public Services.
A team of 10 tele-clerks is working in pairs with the sales representatives for more availability as well as to ensure customers a steady service at any time.
Exports
Exports account for 30% of the total turnover. The various markets are reached through specialised importers, mail order companies or local manufacturers. The main countries for Exports include the BENELUX, THE USA, MOROCCO, SWEDEN, NIGERIA, SWITZERLAND, CANADA, PORTUGAL, THE ARAB EMIRATES, SPAIN, GERMANY, JAPAN and so on.
