A graduate of the School of Architecture and Fine Arts in Marseille, Marine Peyre made her debut on the design scene in 2001 with the creation of the "Cooked in Marseille" brand. Based in Paris since 2011, Marine Peyre founded her own furniture publishing house, Marine Peyre Editions, where she designs and markets collections of flexible, modular seating, 100% made in France. At the same time, she works as artistic director for a number of trade fairs and exhibitions, and collaborates with several well-known publishers. Marine Peyre's philosophy is based on a playful, pop universe that favours the interplay of multiple interlocking elements and modularity, the use of offbeat materials, expressive, colourful shapes and relaxed attitudes, at the interdisciplinary boundaries of art, space and design.
